Grill Cake Pops are a unique twist on traditional cake pops, adding a smoky and grilled flavor to the sweet treat. Perfect for outdoor gatherings and BBQ parties.
Ingredients: 1 box of chocolate cake mix. 1/2 cup of vegetable oil. 3 large eggs. 1 cup of water. 1 cup of chocolate frosting. 1 package of candy melts assorted colors. Cake pop sticks. Cooking spray.
Instructions: Set the grill's temperature to medium. Mix the eggs, water, and vegetable oil in a bowl to make the chocolate cake mix as directed on the package. In a large bowl, crumble the cake into fine crumbs after it has cooled and baked. Add the chocolate frosting and stir until thoroughly mixed. Enough sticky material should be added to form cake balls. Form the mixture into tiny cake balls, then arrange them on a parchment paper-lined tray. As directed on the package, melt the candy melts in various colors. Insert the cake pop sticks into the cake balls after dipping them into the melted candy melts. Coat every cake ball completely by dipping it into the melted candy melts. Let extra run off. To keep the grill from sticking, mist it with cooking spray. Once the candy coating is set and has grill marks, place the cake pops on the grill and cook for two to three minutes, turning them over once or twice. Before serving, take them off the grill and allow them to cool completely.
