A timeless classic, the grilled burger is a summer favorite. Avoid grilling mistakes and savor the deliciousness of a perfectly cooked, juicy burger.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 4 burger buns. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. Onion slices. Ketchup. Mustard.
Instructions: Warm the grill up to a medium-high level. Shape the ground beef into 4 burger patties that are all the same size. Add salt and black pepper to both sides of the patties. Put the burger patties on the grill and cook them for four to five minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if you like them more done. Cover the grill and add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty in the last minute of cooking. This will melt the cheese. After putting the burger buns on the grill, let them brown a little, about one to two minutes. Put lettuce leaves, tomato slices, and onion slices on the bottom bun to make the burgers. Cover the vegetables with the cooked patty and melt the cheese on top of it. Put ketchup and mustard on the top bun, and then put it on top of the patty. Enjoy your beef burger while it's still hot!
