Just realized that I never made a post about this drawing. It was made around the same time as my icon. At the time I was going through a phase of putting an insane amount of time and effort into shading. I'm also pretty sure that this was my first serious (and finished) digital art piece I made that has a background.
If any of you know about what game this is from I will give you a digital cookie.
no posts here for a while!!! how's about some cute headcanons for the grilda line? ❤💕
Happily!!! The Grilda line, Grildragos especially, used to be one of my favourites as a kid 💙Grilda:-Really talkative-They might be alright swimmers, but on land they're slow. Once you've grown annoyed by them it's not hard to escape. For a while anyway. They're persistent.-As just mentioned, they are only alright swimmers. Having three heads leaves them with a kinda suboptimal body shape.-They can't breathe underwater, but can hold their breath alright.-A lot of other Spectrobes avoid them because of how exhausting they can be.-They aren't quick to feel lonely despite not talking to other Spectrobes often. They're never alone anyway and the three heads exhaust each other already anyway.-They get very excited about finding minerals and tend to fight over which head saw them first.-The heads can have any kind of personalities, they're different for each Grilda.Grilden:-Can't swim-In water they sink like a stone-They can still hold their breath fairly well, but unless they're not far away from the shore this won't help them.-Depending on what types of personalities Grilda's three heads were, Grilden's two heads consist of two of those former heads, but they both had the third former head mixed in. This mixing occurs at random and you'll never know which head will be the one that'll be distributed among both new ones.-Despite their stocky build they're fast and have quick reactions.-A lot more endurable as friends than they used to be as Grilda-The two heads still get into fights but they happen less often. The reasons for this are most likely the high amount of teamwork they need to do in fights and the mutual sense of understanding they share through the thoughts and memories of the former third head that's been split among them.Grildragos:-Incredibly smart in terms of socialization. They can read between the lines of what's been said with shocking accuracy. As well as pick up the slightest hints of body language and its meaning.-The reason for the last bullet point is that each one of them consists of three minds. None of these minds fight, it's as if they're just one, but because that wasn't always the case they have a very easy time seeing things from another individual's perspective.-They're also great team workers because of how easily they can read their partner's mind-Their slender, but strong bodies really grant them the ability to make use of their speed and short reaction time.-They're no longer bound to a stocky physique and one can really see how much they're digging it-Very proud Spectrobes, for a reason. But they won't show off-After their unfortunate horrible swimmer phase as Grilden they make their return to the water. They're actually pretty good now-They still can't breathe underwater-They don't swim often, I mean come on, they can fly-Some Grildragos arms are really short. They might be frustrated about it, but it makes them more aerodynamic and thus a lot faster that others with bigger and longer arms
