Well sure! Since I didn’t make the game/webcomic I’m no expert on the subject but I’ll try my best. So the main glitch that occurred in the game over timeline was mainly caused by Caliborn being weird and shoving candy corn and sparkle dust into the disk that progressed time… It’s a rather confusing subject and the only way that could happen in any session other than the alpha kids session would be if there was a really OP class like Caliborn’s. Glitches also may occur if something doesn’t follow the rules/guidelines of the game. You know like… Not prototyping your sprites :p. Yeah. So stick to the rules of Skaia if you don’t want to glitch out. Gridmarkness, from what I have gathered, isn’t exactly a glitch. It’s similar to a rage player’s rage mode in the sense that it is activated by extremely intense emotions or an extreme realization. Rose must’ve felt something extremely intense when she understood what the horrorterrors motives were which is why she went gridmark. Some people debate as to whether Eridan went grim dark when he murdered feferi. I don’t exactly agree with that but if he did it was probably because he was feeling some intense emotions of betrayal, sadness, anger, etc. Jade went grimbark because of crockermins control filling her with evil and hate. Simple enough right? Ok and here is some more speculation rather than canon ideas. Some people say that their classpects will get reversed from passive to active and vice versa. This would mean Rose went to a Mage of Void, Eridan became a Bard of Hope, and Jade went to an Heir of Time. Other people say that it does reverse the class but the aspect becomes void so Rose is still a Mage of Void in gridmark, Eridan is a Bard of Void, and Jade became an Heir of Void.
