I didn't know you went to church, what denomination / religion are you?
This is actually a loaded question bc I’m only going to church tomorrow because my mom is making me
Here’s kind of what’s up
I went from nonpracticing roman catholic, to going to sunday school and sometimes church, back to nonpracticing, to semi-agnostic but not really it’s complicated because I kind of believe in god but also no? who knows, I sure don’t
so atm I don’t actually identify as any particular religion
however my mom just started attending the church that my bff goes to last week, and it’s protestant, but I’m not sure what type of protestantism(?) it is?
All I know is that I don’t really care for being a part of organized religion, and esPECIALLY not with my parents (who I never went to church with even when I was little, so I don’t really understand what triggered my mom’s whole fucking religious revival a couple of years ago) and honestly I’m just so anxious and really don’t want to put myself through this shit, but I don’t have a choice
