My parents and I went to a movie last week and the played the fantastic behind the scenes trailer for Laika's "The Box Trolls," which basically makes me fall over in my seat drooling every time I see it. Afterward we were out getting lunch and my dad just said unprompted that he thought if I weren't going into teaching I would make a good stop-motion animator. I don't necessarily agree, but to me that was a huge compliment because I have nothing but the utmost respect and awe for people who do that stuff.
