Graduate Record Examination also referred to as GRE is a standardized test which is administered and created by Educational Testing System (ETS). It aims to gauge a student's general intellectual preparedness for graduate study. A GRE Subject Test, which evaluates technical knowledge relevant to a particular area like physics, psychology, or mathematics, may be required by some graduate schools. Most of the universities in US and Canada use GRE scores to measure an individual’s calibre. It is also used for admission into various masters and doctoral degree programs
