@pellet anon it helps to mix in the pellets with a treat your tiel likes to get them to try them. Mashing them up in seeds, banana mash or watered down oatmeal is fun and tasty!
Great idea! Though mixing them with seeds mean they'll just pick out the seeds, if they don't recognize the pellets as food. I tried that and they just picked out what they wanted! But I like the idea of mixing the pellets in with something mushy.
