randomfigures said: I think foreshadowing is the way to go. Flashbacks can work, but there has to be something that makes it unique otherwise it seems like a cop-out. But foreshadowing is more subtle and makes a reader more involved.

Yeah...I'm going to stick to revealing mostly through dialogue, but if it gets to a point where a flashback might be necessary, I'll try it to see how it flows.
