ZCam E2M4, Mod with a Tilta Vmount for the RED Komodo back plate. Yes, for Komodo, it took a little engineering, but I wired a 2Pin LEMO, straight out of the 1St BPE plate, ,and deaded the 2nd to attach it to a SmallRig, Zback Cage extension. Added a Dtap Hub, 2Pin Lemo power Hub, and extensions for; cat 6, usb-c, WiFi Antenna plus splitter, XLR dual in, and powered the EVF on the PwrOut Lemo. Yet, the project was inspired by a ZCam user crying about no one making stuff for his ZCam, SOO I JUST did IT. And ironically he said it was a nightmare, (because he didn’t realize I shot it opened up, SO HED KNOW WHERE TO PUT THE CABLES, how I did it etc. BUT NO, he assumes I took a Heli-Arc welder to it, **Note: here, it’s uncabled so he could UNDERSTAND WHAT I DID, but as they say, no good RED deed goes unpunished. I use a REE BRICK, RED BREAKOUT VMOUNT BACK, a RED H1 as the settings menu access monitor( it works perfectly via usb-C). And look I’ve been at this 30 yrs, some punk isn’t gonna stop me. Maybe just irony of 10 requests a day for Komodo features, vs, diggin in and shooting. Love RED, can’t always use em, but isn’t it about creating VALUED WORK in the end.
