in lieu of my most recent concert Death From Above 1979, I've decided to to a little concert reminiscing:
There was the concert virginity which was (sadly enough) Hedley, when Jacob Hogard whipped out his superman suit and I nearly left the earth. back in good ole '08.
Then there was that time when my best friend called me up shamelessly and told me she got tickets to the Jonas Brothers world tour featuring Camp Rock. I obliged only becuase she was my best friend and Ontario Place is bomb. Maybe I cried when Fly With Me came on, maybe.
Following that Tokyo Police Club came to town followed by Hollorado, that was the day Dave Monks put his arm around me and we exchanged vows. It was also the first concert I went to that left me with severe, and I mean the worst PCD (post concert depression) ever. And running into Greg Alsop by the water with his little drummer sticks never hurts as a memory.
Then there was that time the Arkells came to town and I just had to stay for "deadlines" becuase I remember I was on a serious deadline, pressed for time when the show strolled around, but I made it, obviously.
Then there was that random chance encounter with NightBox on Canada day. Who knew a gelato run could turn into a night of concerts and meet and greets. Sometimes the unexpected is good.
Then as of currently, there was that time on Halloween where not only did I write my first midterm hours before and crashed a dorm party as a zombie geek but bought my ticket for Death From Above 1979 with fatured guess PS I Love You. Night turned out to be amazing, lots of head banging and a bruise behind my ear, how? I don't know.
Thus far, that is all. But if you'd like to go further, there was that one time in grade five french class when Madame took us all to see Greg Le'rock...but if anyone asks Hedley took my virginity.
