Random Sherlock Humor 1/?
Sherlock: Shut up
Lastrade: I didn't say an-
Sherlock: You were thinking° it's annoying.
Greg Lastrade spending more time policing people who would try confronting John and Sherlock about their feelings for each other than actually doing his freaking job. Lastrade going off on some jerk that just badmouthed his otp. Sherlock thanking Greg for helping give him and John the time and space they needed to figure things out.
Imagine asking Mycroft if Sherlock likes you

I have this head canon that Sherlocks coworkers are in varying stages of crushing on Mr Holmes. You have Anderson, in the earliest stages of Holmes addiction. He may not be aware of what it is, he may cover with name calling and pigtail pulling but he has an admiration for Sherlock and that pesky brilliance of his that makes Sherlocks irritation with Anderson all the more unfortunate. Poor guy tries so hard to get Sherlocks approval and Sherlock just couldn't care less. Molly. I love Molly, but in this case its so painfully canon and obvious it really goes without saying. Lastrade is interesting. He's sort of casually lost in loving Sherlock that treating it as a friendship comes naturally, because Sherlock does become his friend and that's great. Lastrade looks at Sherlock fondly, like his feelings for him are a sweet but distant memory. He knows him and Sherlock would never be a thing and it would be weird if they could be, because he likes Sherlock for what he really is and part of that is Sherlocks lack of romantic interest(up until John, but John is something else all together). Lastrade is going to carry a place in his heart for Sherlock, always, but he's pretty much moved on, accepting his and Sherlocks dynamic as is. Sally probably had a thing for Sherlock, maybe noticing him as being a rare male equal to her competence. She's a strong independent woman who has likely experienced her fair share of sexism on her way to the top. Sherlock comes along and he treats her like he treats the guys, not trying to be delicate or tiptoe around her like a sleeping baby. Its refreshing and she falls, like Molly level falls, but being who she is, she gets out when she realizes Sherlock is just kinda a little kid in a big boy coat. She sees his self centeredness and rudeness and every other fault and knows she is worth more. Is she a bit jaded, feeling like her heart had been tricked? Sure, who wouldn't be. Her warning to John, while rude, was genuine. She just saw herself in John and wanted to save him the heartache. John. Yes, that's a complicated one and I truly think that's what the whole show is about, meaning its not really head canon, but canon canon. That's just my stance though and only time will tell.
Did you know Alfred from Gotham is drunken Greg Lastrade from Elementary?
Okay so my new tutor in college was talking to me today about my future and when I told her I wanted to be an actress she said 'you know the policeman from sherlock? Rupert Graves? I was friends with him as a teenager and he was a red coat and that's what got him into acting' and i just
