U of M coach Juwan Howard suspended 5 games and fined $40,000 for his part in the altercation following the Michigan/Wisconsin basketball game on Feb. 20, 2022.

In all honesty, Wisconsin coach Greg Gard seems to initiate first contact which he said was because Howard wouldn't shake hands. Gard was fined $10,000 but no suspension. 🤔 Howard's 5-day suspension means he's out for the rest of the regular season.

Things got ugly at the end of today's Wisconsin/Michigan game after Michigan coach Juwan Howard threw a punch at Wisconsin asst. coach Joe Krabbenhoft. Howard, who now coaches for his alma mater and was a former NBA player, says he didn't like that Wisconsin called a timeout with 4 seconds remaining even though they had the game well in hand.
