Shouto had forgotten one of his text books in Izuku’s room the other night when they had studied, and it hadn’t been an issue since it was the weekend and they’d just wanted to be done with it so they could enjoy some free time. Now, however, after double-checking his school supplies he had realized it was missing.

Granted, he could have texted Izuku, but he had thought going to his room would be the simplest method of obtaining it. He’d knocked, called for the green-haired boy, and after hearing a squeaked ‘just a minute!’ Shouto tilted his head. Had he come at a bad time?

Izuku appeared. In an All Might shirt. It was in two sizes too big. 

Without a thought?. 

Yeah, as if. 

The blonde didn’t really felt convinced but nor did he dwelled on this.

He takes a moment before standing back up. ‘’Just keep your darn hands to yourself’’, annoyance enlaced the offered statement. 

Truth to be told, lately, he hasn’t been feeling too well, most of his classmates had no problem noticing something was wrong but Bakugou refused to acknowledge he was not alright. 

He merely did not needed their pity or to see them worried. Its not like he knew what was wrong with himself, to be honest.

Shouto hadn’t meant to be out as long as he was. But, he didn’t really have a choice this time. He’d gotten caught with a group that he shouldn’t have and ended up really paying for it.

Guilt. This what he was feeling right now while helping Midoirya to clean his wound. Was it his fault? He couldn't even tell. Midoriya just protects him - there is no saying he would have able to do so himself.

But why did the greenhead even jump in to help then?

The wound luckily wasn't fetal and haven seen the scars on Midoriya's arm and hand he most likely had been through much much worse.

It doesn't make him feel less guilty.

"You're stupid" he spoke as he started to bandage the wound " This was reckless - did you even think? I'm sure I could have handled this-" maybe an injury but still.

The following may sound very critical but please hear me out!I must say that I’ve been very skeptical about TodoDeku because I generally find myself conflicted with ships that use to portray the characters as an exaggerated uke-seme kinda thing? Anyone know what I mean? Midoriya as a weak damsel in distress kinda person (and excuse me but he is far from that) and the other as either the knight in shiny armor or the oppressive stern cold dominant (pushes the shorter submissive guy for sexual interaction at best) and well yeah, as I said the weaker one, cute, often feminin and kind and bla bla bla. All the things Deku clearly isn’t. He’s not weak. Period. I dare say he might be buffer than most of them. Unfortunately most I’ve seen with this ship is exactly like this bullshit so I’m very wary. I’ve just seen too much of Deku being made clingy, whiny, weak or outright slutty and depending on Todoroki and that really just isn’t my cup of tea. Todoroki is not pushy, dominant nor overly possessive or anything alike. Not at all. He likes Midoriya, Yes and I can see that ship having great potential because they do have great chemistry with each other and Todoroki has easily grown a soft spot for the emerald colored hero in training. I would give it a try in all honesty but, and I can’t stress this enough: I want them to treat each other as equals. I’d even go as far and say Todoroki needs Deku’s “protection” way more than the other way around. He was the one who literally kicked Todorokis ass because if anything Midoriya has grown to be strong for himself and now grows further to be strong for others. He’s become a light in Shotos life which he values a lot. So yes I would try it but only under those conditions. Sorry this was ramble-ish but I had to say that.
