A year ago today I promoted to Pink. I still remember every single moment. I sat in bed refreshing and refreshing my back office. I was sitting at 98%. We were watching Netflix and Jesse was laughing at me because I had killed my phone stalking my back office. I'd refresh and say 'still 98%' over and over. And then I refreshed and suddenly it was all check marks. I couldn't speak. I just looked at him and whispered 'I'm pink'. He says 'who did it? Who put you over?'. I looked at my team numbers, it was way smaller then, only 11 of us. 'Laurie did it. She put me over!!'. Then I jumped out of bed, he jumped out of bed. We jumped and danced and whisper screamed. Miss A was in bed. Out to the garage we went and yelled and cheered and high fived. I immediately sent Kim a text. I was floating above Cloud 9. I still get goosebumps when I remember how it felt to hit that goal. I was so proud of myself, I was so proud of my team. None of that has changed. I'm very proud of all that I have accomplished in this business, I never thought that I could have this much success sharing makeup. But I have, and it's only getting better. I am so proud of my team, my tribe of beautiful, strong, and determined women on a mission to change their lives. And I'm beyond thankful that I get to work with these boss babes. They have become my friends, my y-family. And I want nothing less than for them to achieve all that they want. There are now 49 of us, and as we head towards another huge team promotion, I'm so lucky to have these ladies with me.
