One of the fortunes of us Sardinians is that we have natural oases not yet contaminated by private economic speculation: one of these is the beach of Funtanatza, a semi-unknown corner of the Costa Verde, mainly a destination for local tourism, located between Gùturu 'e frùmini and Tunària . Here the miners' children (1956-1983) spent their holidays, a colony of questionable environmental impact had been built for them. It was perhaps the first beach of the Costa Verde to be open for holidays. An inlet of golden sand of about one kilometer, interspersed with rocks and stones. Private speculation has set its sights on Funtanatza and the former colony to make it a luxury resort.
