Some things to know about St Paddy’s day as you prepare to celebrate. It was us Americans that decided to make it such a hoopla after all. The parties started on our dusty shores and not green palate of the Emerald Isles. In Ireland it is a shamrock that is celebrated for the change to Catholicism with the Shamrock representing the father, son and Holy Ghost. It is here in the states that we celebrate with a four leaf clover. But in the end, all is well when sitting around sharing a pint with friends.
