love hurts, child. the words echo in a troubled mind as warm tears roll down her cheeks. she wants to stop hurting – wants to stop crying. but more than anything, she wants to stop loving him. memories of their life together intoxicate her brain for an instant. they were so happy. how could that just be gone? where are the two innocent teenagers that just wanted to be together? the answer comes from her hands – porcelain skin stained with the most vivid ruby blood. he has killed again. just like she knew he would. but this time? this time she was there to witness it all. the blood in her hands? from his latest victim. in a pathetic movement, she checked the man’s pulse. dead. how could it be that the boy she loves is a murderer?
trembling red lips are pressed together for an instant in a pathetic attempt for her to stop crying. she doesn’t. instead, emerald eyes catch a glimpse of him moving towards her. “don’t come near me”, she screams, holding a hand up ( as if that could stop him ). she cannot process this. she cannot handle this. she is done. “you got what you wanted, finn”, the girl suddenly announces, a sob cutting her off. karma, you have to stop crying – she tells herself. but she cannot. she is mourning the man dead by her feet. she is mourning the person she used to be that died along with him. she is mourning the person finn used to be. mourning the loss of their innocence – the end of her love for him.
“i am done, finn”, she screams and this time her voice echoes strong in the empty alley. because she is strong. she might look fragile and she might be falling apart as stubborn tears keep on rolling down her cheeks, but she is still strong – a heart made of iron with walls made of steel surrounding it. “i am so fucking done”, the redhead adds and now it is her turn to shut the distance between them. “you were right all along. the boy i love? he is dead. and you just killed the last bit of hope i had for you. so congratulations. you got what you wanted”, her tone is cold, just like her eyes. this is not a bluff, this is the end.
