Shen: I have an army.

That’s an interesting inquiry, anonymous!

I adore many KFP characters more as they are part of my heart in me since I watched the first film about a decade ago. I was thirteen when I glimpsed the cartoon that blew my head like I could not stop ignoring Dreamwork’s exceptional artwork. 

I do have to admit my honest answer. Many fans focused on only one character who all felt the misery within, knowing what loving family of his cared their royal son more than China. 

There are much more understandings what Lord Shen is not just a badass antagonist who has an elegant robe and magnificent voice, but Po’s old enemy from the past is a brilliant soul that his reputation represents his ambition, intelligent and so as a wicked peafowl lord. I chose the ideal Lord of Gongmen that Shen is an important role to have the Dragon Warrior educate him through crucial, eradicate suffering when Shen must look forward to a better life instead of facing the eternal darkness where past hurts him, and inner peace he truly craves. 

Even though Shen found peace about right before his death when hesitated himself and glimpsed his cannon collapsed and closed his eyes, he had to end his misery. Shen felt betrayal from his parents who loved him most, many bad things he either burned all villages or executed panda villagers to prevent Soothsayer’s prophecy, and even he could not discipline his feelings to soothe. 

There are Shen’s fics out there to seek his redemption and redeem his reputation by following Dragon Warrior’s path for a second chance and forgive Po and everything Shen dealt. Synchronize Harmony’s The Return of Lord Shen, and Artsywriter1992′s Finding a Path to Clemency are my recommendation story lists where Lord Shen’s tale continues to build his clemency. Their stories are fantastic!

The red panda master sipped his tea mug he preferred perching on ancient, lovely Sacred Peach Tree on every morning. Shifu's long ears pitched up, hearing the Great Dragon's hum he looked up to his student who sat and crossed his knees together as if Tai Lung meditated by his closed yellow eyes and a soft sigh.

Every night, the Great Dragon entered his adoptive father's library, surrounded and piled with hundreds of philosophy facts, terms, ancient sceneries, and a couple of war stories scripts. Tai admitted he could read plenty of scrolls with the jade candle next to the scripture on the mahogany table and seek his ancestor fighting on a violent, dash path on the Great Wall bridge with the peacock prince Li Han from Gongmen City. Before sleeping in the room with an innocent, marvelous, and sweet child from Bao Gu Orphanage palace, his head once rang by a brilliant, crystal voice Tai Lung would never forget when brought a healthy smirk once looking up to amber eyes of his sister.
