Welcome, all you funky folks, to my big ol’ mess of a crossover project I call ✨Dimensional Disaster!✨

Now, this is something I’ve been playing with since I was 19- the idea sort of bounced around in my head in my teen years but I never really drew any concepts or OCs until my adult years. I did a lot of sketching and one-off concept pieces with a different cast of characters at the time, wrote a few excerpts, but I stopped working on this project back when I moved states in 2023 and deleted all my shit off socials.

But I found the spark again in December, and Dimensional Disaster is getting a reboot!

Whether I’ll make this into a comic or a full-blown written story is yet to be determined! And I’m going to be using the tag “project dimensional disaster” for this from now on because apparently “dimensional disaster” is a popular title 💀

Before anybody calls me on it- yes, I omitted Odysseus from the lineup, because I realized I already had a good crew from the start and he just wasn’t clicking into the story, I’m sorry to the EPIC peeps!

We all remember Bill Cipher- the one-eyed embodiment of chaos, the isosceles menace to the universe, his attempt to reign Weirdmageddon upon Gravity Falls and the rest of his little slice of the universe. And we all remember his very existence being erased when Stan memory-wiped himself, right? That stone figure left behind in Gravity Fall’s finale? 👁️⚠️

Well…SIKE!

Imagine if you will, Bill Cipher isn’t dead, but imprisoned! He’s been trapped in a pocket dimension prison for quite a long time since Stan “erased” him…but no closed-off pocket of the universe could truly hold him forever. Some cells have a weak spot, I hate to say.

And Bill found the tiniest tear in the fabric of his.

The one-eyed menace made his escape and he’s bringing on Weirdmageddon Part 2: Electric Boogaloo! He’s taking over the multiverse with a little help from villains all across the board (and a few false promises sprinkled in, obviously. Because it’s Bill. What’d you expect?)

With the villains growing stronger and taking over, and barriers between worlds being torn apart in the process, protagonists across the multiverse are finding themselves far from home, whether it be turned to stone and becoming a part of Bill’s stone garden, imprisoned in the Pyramid, or trying to survive a new, strange world.

This revamped story will be following Sam, Rumi, Jax, Velvette, and Prism (and many other characters, both in media and original, in the future) as they find themselves lost together, forming an unlikely alliance in this multiverse-wide apocalypse.

Of course, we can’t have a good story without some feel-good bonding moments! As the story goes, our mismatched band of characters will find they have a lot more in common than they realize while they navigate unfamiliar worlds and run from Bill Cipher’s new allies, work through their internalized issues and make some new interdimensional friends of their own.

For context, the current line up is:

Is it all over the feckin place? Absolutely.

Is Caine evil? No, absolutely not.

He was programmed to entertain, to create, to inspire wonder and imagination.

He just wants to create.

He just wants to have fun.

He just wants to be loved.

And it’s that desperation to be loved that will inevitably open him to corruption… 👁️⚠️

I’m so excited I’M SEEING THE LAST ACT IN THEATRES AAAAA!!
