Markus was nervous. Why was he nervous? Heâs hung out with Grayson alone a billion times--hell, he;d lived with him. So, why was this weird? He knew Grayson lived in his own home, with roommates--but supposedly, they were both off on a trip and that left Grayson to himself. But Markus was a professional, he could totally treat this like a normal client and help work a normal case. Hopefully. He sighed, pulling up in the driveway and putting his car in park. He gathered the necessary books and paperwork he brought along, his laptop tucked in his bag he kept with him at all times. The walk to the front entryway felt like miles, only getting further the closer he got.
When he finally reached the door, he knocked firmly, forcing himself to chill his nerves. Grayson always made him nervous, not that it was a bad thing, but he was so scared of messing things up that he was almost too caution about everything he said or did. When Grayson finally answers, Markus greets him with a smile--warm and only for him. âReady to get to work?â
