for the oc questions! 4, 13, 21, 28, 35, 43, 48
4: A character you rarely talk about?
The first one that pops into my mind would be Ziz. Ziz is a very strange, statue-like creature that looks something like a cross between a graveyard angel and one of those bizarre, frightening versions of traditional, Biblical angels. He’s a construct created by Pica to guard the last remaining, uncorrupted piece of Macroura there is.
I certainly hope nobody… steals it o_o
13: Do you have any troublemaker OCs?
My chief troublemaker? Pica. Fuckin’ Pica. He’s the god of chaos and creator of the Otherworld and the Sidhe. He also made the Horsemen, Agrippa, and Cassandra, and was singlehandedly responsible for mindfucking Macroura, causing him to fall to corruption and grief, die, and break apart into the Kings of the Pit. Pica is the Divine Troublemaker.
21: Your most artistic OC
I have three artistic OCs, actually. The first one that comes to mind is Fengarifax, Herne’s son. After he executed Cassandra, he genuinely went mad and decided to become an artist. He paints and sculpts almost constantly, and is extraordinarily good at it. He was the one who carved the great fountain in the middle of the bottom tier of the Zitadelle depicting the three chief deities of the Triune Order: Herne, Godking Arawn, and Manannan.
28: Your most dangerous OC?
Aever/Dantalion. Although he’s kind of a trainwreck, he was the dude that created the Yawn. He was actually trying to tear Eurytus completely in half, but he was interrupted and couldn’t.
35: Any sibling characters?
My main, most used ones are Ein and Zwei. Their real names are Morgeneine and Abenzweite, but they shortened them for the sake of brevity. They’re identical twins except for their eyes, and are the guardians and servants to Cassandra and Fengarifax, created by Herne. They usually take the form of extremely tall, pale men with long, black hair that wear black fur sarongs around their waists and nothing else. They can change shapes into the faces of anyone whom they’ve fed from - even a drop of blood will do. However, their true faces are those of twin, chimeric creatures that seem to be a cross between a flying fox and a wyvern; with long, serpentine bodies covered in black fur, no legs, and arm-like, webbed wings in place of front feet or claws.
43: Do you have any certain type when you create your OCs? Do you tend to favour some certain traits or looks? It's time to confess
Oh hell yeah. My preferred aesthetics for my characters are what brought @doublethickcustard and I together. My ideal concept of beauty is androgyny. Long hair; sharp, clever features; litheness and thinness, etc. It’s just how I like to do ma thang.
48: OC who is a perfect cinnamon roll, too good for this world, too pure
Orrin Selkirk, a priest of the Triune Order. He was born a shy, sweet, mortal man with a powerful conviction for religion and faith. He was a scrawny thing, with big, baby-blue eyes and moppish, curly brown hair that often got in front of his glasses. He always wore oversized purple robes (as purple is Godking Arawn’s color), even though well-fitted ones were available to him. The oversized ones just felt cozier to him.
Orrin always had an adoration for Godking Arawn, even above the other dieties. He learned to play the cello, among other instruments, while he was still training to become a priests. Every day, he would go to the great cathedral and sit before the statue of the Godking, and pray by playing his music in accordance to the emotions he felt. The love, the sadness, the joy - everything he may have felt that day, he’d play for Arawn.
Orrin ultimately grew old and died of natural causes, and when his soul was collected by Godking Arawn’s Psychopomps to be taken to the Inworld, Arawn called upon Orrin to meet with him. Throughout all of Orrin’s life, Arawn had been deeply touched by the love and faith Orrin had for him, and his unique way of showing it with music. Arawn ultimately chose to bless and raise Orrin up as his High Priest, and Orrin now lives within Arawn’s palace to serve him.
