Grayson is afraid of dogs and large, open bodies of water. The dogs thing is absolutely because of hellhounds. As for large bodies of water, he’s never liked them. He’s not a strong swimmer either.

While he tends to hide it pretty well, it actually does bother Grayson to see Chayton follow down the same path as him in terms of how he copes with things. While he’ll probably never say it to his son, it makes him cry when he sees Chay strung out like him.

Grayson is actually terrified of hellhounds. He is one of the few crossroads demons that absolutely will not use them. He tolerates the ones Cord has at the bar, he gets why they’re needed there, but he does not like or trust them. 

On the occasion that Chayton uses drugs, he prefers to get them from Judas over Grayson. While Grayson will give his son drugs, no questions asked, he’s usually cut them with other things. Judas, on the other hand, doesn’t like to mix things at random so Chay trusts him more.

The real reason Cord and Grayson split up was because Cord had a miscarriage. It had definitely put a lot of strain on them with how similar their coping mechanisms are (and not in a good way).

While they’ve never actually dated, Chayton and Judas do have a sort of a friends with benefits thing? Which Cord finds amusing to no end because Cord and Grayson were a thing for decades. Which is a fact that both Chayton and Judas know.

Slade is actually older than Grayson by about 200 years.
