âThis room is very empty.â
The understatement of the century, and Jackie, for one, felt almost stupid to be the one to have to mention it. But goddamn, it had to be said.
Maybe they should have gotten a third roommate after all.
âWe really donât have anything at all to add in here, do we?â Sheâd asked the ice mage with a slight frown, arms crossed over her chest from where sheâd stood perched just by the entrance of the front door, gazing out across the vast expanse of absolute nothingness thatâd stared eerily back at her with an almost pervasive silence.
Certainly sheâd known that she wouldnât have too much of her own to contribute to the house just yet, considering that sheâd spent the majority of her active mage lifestyle traveling out on the road, with whatever sheâd managed to accumulate at Fairy Tail needing to be just enough to still fit inside her lone bedroom at the guild dormitory. As it was, her room here was already at least a few feet bigger than her old bedroom, which meant that she had a lot extra space to fill, otherwise she could just lay straight down and stretch out and do absolutely nothing.
Sheâd at least have expected Gray ( who admittedly, she did not know where he might have lived before eventually settling down here in their new humble abode ) to have at least, if nothing else, acquired â a couch.
But he apparently â did not. And well â
The low thump of an armchair being tipped through the front door entrance brought those thoughts to a right pause; the apparent last of her own furniture being offloaded by the moving company, as the remaining boxes left outside would attest to.
Well, as she was saying âÂ
âExcept for that.â Female muttered lowly, shaking her head with a soft sigh before mahogany hues finally searched out her roommates dark blue, motioning out towards the black and blue armchair with a shrug. âSo, since we share this space now -- would you rather it be out here or in my bedroom, which one would you prefer?â
Preferably not the option that would contribute to making the rest of the house look quite so â
