The young black mage had made it to the Fibonacci Ward for the first time. Living in the Golden Ward hadn’t afforded him many opportunities to go there since he’d arrived on the island. However, there was a certain destination that was high on his list of priorities to visit. The destination was, of course, the Spirale Metro Library.Â
He’d gone to a local branch found in the Golden Ward and had even visited the Cotes Ward branch when he’d walked past it one day. But, while eating plain, healthy foods each day kept you alive and active, sometimes you needed a treat to make life worth living and this great library was going to be a dessert of prodigious proportions.Â
Tral looked over the directory and, seeing it followed the same principle of the branches, quickly moved to the occult section and started to peruse to his heart’s content. He quickly glossed over any book on healing or protection, it was too much like white magic for his taste, and quickly found a book on time manipulation. The only thing better than a black belt punching a monster was a black belt punching a monster twice as much.Â
Seeing some theories of interest he decided to check the book out and moved further down the case. He noticed a person looking at the same shelf as he. Tral stood back and waited patiently for him to move on. There was a really interesting book that was referenced in a book he’d previously borrowed that might be found on that shelf, but he wouldn’t hurry this other patron and wait his turn.Â
