So here’s my thoughts for the Gravity Falls future children. But first let me explain the teenage future au I had thought of for Gravity Falls. I kinda made my own backstory. (Btw no one is straight 😂) A lot of this involved my own thoughts on how things came to be. The twins Dipper and Mabel arrive back in Gravity Falls when they are 17 years old during winter break. They will be finishing high school in Gravity Falls. For the last few years Pacifica and Gideon have been hanging out as friends. (Gideon is redeemed. He also doesn’t look creepy anymore) Gideon has dated a girl named Amada. A selfish, rude, and creepy girl (basically an old Pacifica and old Gideon fusion). A bit more back in the past Candy and Gideon were best friends. It turns out Gideon’s unfortunate self no one likes was a curse that controlled him for 3 years. It was the faults and result of the society of the blind eye’s memory erasure, the amulet, and journal all mixing together. My idea is that Gideon’s dad was terrible and abusive, Gideon wanted “revenge” on his father, so he did something stupid which Candy of course was against. As soon as he left and she realized how serious he was, she distanced herself from him. When the curse wore off, Gideons dad resumed abusive to punish him. Just like in the show Candy is smarter and knows more than the credit she’s given. Back to the future or present... whatever, Gideon and Amada’s relationship is public news. Gideon’s pretty girlfriend baffles Mabel. Mabel shocked to see him so different and with someone so pretty. Dipper not being so surprised, as it turns out he had actually visited around a month ago and talked with everyone. Mabel and Pacifica go shopping. Mabel and Gideon see each other agai. Of course very awkward. Mabel’s anger returns for all the things he did. Amada shows her true colors as a terrible person and threatens Mabel. Gideon now has a new amulet that cannot be used for bad but instead is used for protection and acts as the force field for the safety of Gravity Falls. Gideon distracts Amada while Mabel runs off. Candy and Wendy are friends. Wendy is an open lesbian. Candy has a crush on Wendy now. Dipper is basically just chilling the whole time. Him and Pacifica are catching up. Mabel and Pacifica are best friends. Sometimes Dipper and Wendy are catching up. Dipper and Wendy are best friends. When school starts up again, Mabel has her eyes on a boy named, Kyle Vixen. Ironically this boy turns out to be Candy’s ex from one of the past years while Dipper and Mabel were gone. Candy is worried for Mabel, as Kyle is a known player but she also wants the girl she sees as we sister to be happy. Mabel not knowing much about lgbtq, once she finds out starts to notice some strange feelings of attraction toward her best friend. A new girl to the town and school named Gwen catches the eye of Dipper, not as much as he catches hers. Gwen is a cool brunette girl with blue eyes, with a leather jacket and rides motorcycles but is also like chillest and kindnes girl. Amada comes to visit Gideon at the shack. She makes it no secret that she has a problem with all of them. As for personalities, Mabel has gotten more logical but she’s not as honest as she once was. She still loves making fun of her brother and hanging out with her friends. But much of her time is taken up by hanging out with Kyle. Pacifica has become slight more bubbly and sweet while still making it known she ain’t playing these games. Wendy is basically the same. A badass lesbian who isn’t afraid to stand up to anyone. Also kinda the mom friend. Dipper is chilling and nerding out except for when Amada starts to see him as a threat because of him and Gideon being friends. Dipper and Pacifica have a confusing relationship. They know they like each other but they’re. Dipper more so. Scared of the commitment he would be making. Also a new girl name Lola who dates Gideon for a little bit but turns out she was in love with her best friend Gwen. More on this in another post
