“humans are strange. it’s like they don’t know that i need to eat to survive, too. then again, one only understands the things one tames. the men who hunt me, they have no time to understand things, always busy with hunting and working and buying meaningless things from the shops in the city. all they do is take and take. if prince made it to the city before, one of them must’ve taken his tag and used it for themselves.”

Of course the deal wasn’t what she really wanted. See instead of her being immortal, all of her children were cursed to live beyond death.. I mean I guess she got what she wanted, she is a part of us in some way and we can’t truly die.
