Just a thought: I'm always so interested in what other people perceive about me because, for some reason, I assume the things I know about myself are inaccurate. That's kind of silly. I spend the most time with myself, I'm the one actually making the decisions I do, and I'm the one getting realtime emotional/biological feedback. There's no reason why anyone else might have a more accurate depiction of who I am. Except that this annoying tiny feeling says that I'm lying to myself with these perceptions, and that other people somehow have a more objective viewpoint. This is not true. They have their own feedback and prejudices to see through. No one is objective, me included. But I do know the most about myself. And I think that's a really big thing for me to accept.
