Location: far west Kilvoskia

The capitol of Kilvoskia, Serkdan is also sometimes called the Stone City, thanks to its impressive stone walls, or the Childless City, as it is near the Academy of War and Peace, and thereby all its children are sent there to be trained upon reaching seven years of age. A hub of trade and commerce, the city is the western centre for the draconic slave trade, necessitating for the majority of buildings to be made entirely out of stone so they cannot be burned down by stray sparks or an angry dragon. To the west of the city lies farmland, the Elking Forest, and further, the Academy itself. To the southeast of the city is a child soldier compound called Stormbrunne, run by Krios Karavan, where he takes children from age four onwards who show great promise.

Prominent buildings include the Council Building, where the Gora (head of state) and Council of Malus oversee most national Kilvoskian matters; the Church of Saint Maude, tended to by the snassans (priestesses); and Golgotha's Womb, where people receive their Kelva on Naming Day. Celebrations for holy days such as Golgotha's Birthday or the Murder of Maude are lively and feature candle lit processions, pork stuffed dumplings after fasting, and day long prayers.
