Logo-graphy Last week, I went to a fish & chips restaurant, Hunky Dory, located in South Melbourne, and discovered that their logo was very cute and clever. As I had forgotten to take a picture of their logo, here is a picture that I found on google! Their logo is an abbreviation of Hunky Dory, which is “HD”. However, upon closer examination of the logo, I realised that it looks like a fish too. The letter “D” resembles a fish’s head while the “H” looks like the tail of a fish. The design of the logo is brilliant as it is simple but at the same time able to bring out the message that they are a restaurant that serves fish and chips. This is such a well-communicated design!
