Golden hour after descending Golden Horn, looking to Tower Mountain from Upper Snowy Lake. S Coming down from Golden was made easy by being able to boot ski down much of the scree slopes. I 'round the bend above Granite Pass to make first sight of my two darlings; Tower Mountain and Golden Horn. I clamored atop both by day's end in what was, surprisingly, very clear weather. Flanked by three wildfires, this area should have been slathered in smoke (like it was this morning). Neither climb is what I would call "fun."
