💡 FACT: “That” and “which” are often interchangeable.
❗️But not always … and grammar nerds will fight you on it.
“That” is restrictive → it limits or defines.
“Which” is nonrestrictive → it adds extra info (and needs commas).
Examples:
The book that has a red cover is mine. đź“• (There are multiple books; the red one is mine.)
The book, which has a red cover, is mine. 📕 (There’s one book, and oh btw—it’s red.)
