There is so much hidden detail in this game but I guess they lost their momentum when it came to this fire extinguishers in Gralea. They distressed the instructions label to make it look old but the text is just random letters spaced to look like words.
"Kasheudg is lasnrhi gaise. Kdhsi ddomig etsnn gasny. Tagebudy Ohshi Fltysu is Lxlasterxd oposryt is gsuar tgodso yxsption Sxwd.Rsasingryu ydgri dgo..." or something to that effect.

Sometimes gods were not on the same page, Bahamut´s will to keep history running as he said the crystal wanted was undeniable. His battle against the accursed one and the punishment against the same bloodline of his.
But a plea beyond words was heard by someone, the plea of a dying mother for the life of her seven years old daughter that was written to end that fateful day. Submerging the girl into a long thirteen years slumber from which that same divinity would awaken her to finally get his revenge against the draconian.
Just one piece was needed to change the rules of the game and that divinity moved his.
                        ---------------------
Are you sure we are safe here? âasked the princess in that hoarse voice that still was getting used to speaking, not long ago she was sleeping, then trying to give her body the strength enough to walk, run and jump and definitely not long ago, of using the power of kings. It wasn't that hard, once she started remembering her past, Meera understood how deep into the shit she was.
The death of her mother replayed constantly in her night time dreams, the pain of dying, that divine voice speaking, telling her those words that now were finally clear âIn to slumber you shall remain, until your calling is to be fulfilledâ. She looked sick from the lack of sleep, weak from tiredness and somehow ethereal like a spirit, or ghost as common people would call her. But beyond that, she was beautiful, with ivory-like skin, long wavy jet black hair and blue eyes.
âIt is safe your highness, my contact will meet me in that bar right there, I advise you to wait for me here until we can depart to the next tomb of kings. No one will recognize you, so you are indeed, safeâ
Meera glared at the former Marshall of Insomnia, who lowered his sports cap and smiling at her, he adjusted her jacket and pulled down a bit her red wine beanie, like a father would do to his daughter. She nodded softly, smiling and watched him walk away, to return her gaze up to the city of Gralea.
The safest place to be, under their enemy´s nose.
Still she felt weird, there was this feeling that she couldn't shake off, it was annoyance? Or uneasiness? Which ever it was, had her on edge. That feeling got worse and worse, until she let out a sigh along with a cloud of warm air from her lips. Meera didn't know anything and maybe that's how she was going to be able to walk away later on, or maybe she knew deep inside but her conscious mind was not eager to respond and accept that something evil was lurking.
Either of them were a blessing.
When she moved to walk away to a few benches in the sidewalk, her shoulder touched with a tall figure that made her gasp and whisper quickly- I am sorry sir, I really sorry... I think I got lost in my thoughts and...
Warnings: None. | OCâs: Muerlinian Zephyr | Word Count: 1,396
A/N: Part two of holiday fic.
A/N: Super late, but sleep was of the essence.
Darkness.
Like he was outside.
But with white.
Thatâs rightâŚthe snow.
ButâŚhe could barely feel it.
It was like...it wasnât even really there.
Hard to believe this sleeveless gent was suddenly used to the freezing temperatures.
His mind raced in his slumber.
He remembered the freezing cold.
The ice bombs attacking his friends.
His menâŚ
âŚTalcottâŚ
âŚthat blinding flash of lightâŚ
ââŚMuerlinâŚâ, the man mumbled in his sleep.
âYes?â
Prompto choked himself awake with a sharp gasp, leaning forward into a sitting position. Panting heavily.
âWoah, woah there, jumpyâ, that familiar silky accent floated through Promptoâs itching ears. Those charcoal black hands gently holding his body steady.
His indigo irisâ lifting to view those teal lagoons he longed for these past 2 years.
It wasnât a dream.
âMuerlin, you...â.
Prompto longingly reached toward her face, running his fingers through her silver locks.
It was longer than before...everything about her seemed brighter.
âDoc said you shouldnât move so muchâ, she explained with a smile.
Rising from her seat next to the bewildered plebe, she made her way toward a pot of tea that was still steaming. âYou all were âbout an inch away from frostbiteâ.
âUs...all?â, Prompto raised a confused eyebrow.
âYeah. All your men are safeâ. She began pouring the hot liquid. âThe ones that are awake wonât pipe down about you so at least Iâll have some satisfying news for them nowâ, she chuckled.
But Promptoâs conscious wasnât clear yet.
âWhat about Talcott?â
âLittle Talcott? Heâs fine. I took care of that ice bomb before it could do any damageâ.
Promptoâs eyes nearly popped from his skull.
âWaitâŚâ.
That blastâŚit wasnât an explosion.
âThat was YOU?!â
Muerlin grinned at the shocked man and giggled.
âWell, of course it was. What, you think Iâve just been wanderinâ around Eos healing folks?â
She returned beside the bed and to her seat, handing him his cup.Â
âIâve got a few new tricks up my sleeveâ, she sighed as she took a sip. Prompto following suit. âKind of didnât really have a choice anywayâ.
âWhat do you mean?â
The wizard lowered the cup to her lap, staring at the steamy contents inside.
âAfterâŚGraleaâ, her hand gently placed upon her lower abdomen. Promptoâs heart sank as memories of that fateful day flooded through his mind. He never wanted to ask her exactly what happened to her in that horrible placeâŚall he knows is that that bastard hurt herâŚand somehow used him to do itâŚjust like with Noct.
He remembered her blood squishing in between his fingers as he carried her to safetyâŚthe wound was deepâŚto this day, he wishes she would just come out and tell him what happened, but in all honesty, that would probably make him a hypocrite.
âŚbecause the whole while he was panicking and scrambling to save her life, all Muerlin could see was the cuts and bruises that coated his bodyâŚthe grief that burdened her eyes when they found each other again was far too much for Prompto to bare.
She begged him to tell her what had happened after he fell off that train, but even now, he wasnât sure how she would take it.
The last thing the world needed was a reason to fear her...again...
â...because of it...â, the wizard spoke once more. âI swore to never fail so tremendously againâ.
Prompto began to shake his head. âMuerlin-â.
âYou know what they call me, right?â, the wizard cut the manâs words. âThe âNew Oracleââ.
Promptoâs eyes fixed on those deep lagoon pools.
âTch...the real Oracle is the one that should be here, not meâ.
âHey...â, the ocean eyed plebe spoke up at his loveâs negative words.
Muerlinâs gaze now lowered to her charcoal arms.
âIt probably wouldâve turned out better if I was the one rotting at the bottom of the seaâ.
âHey!â, Prompto lightly shouted toward her, pulling her vision upward toward his own.
Their pupils locked.
âYou fought hard just like the rest of us...and like us, you have the scars to prove itâ.
Despite their battling emotions, Prompto couldnât believe he was finally able to hold her once again.
He wanted nothing more than to pull her into his arms and reaffirm his undying love.
However, she seemed preoccupied with something else...her eyes locked onto his bare chest.
Her heart sank upon viewing the many scars he had accumulated over her absence, delicately feeling their gravity against his freckled flesh.
âA scar for every man that calls you âCaptainâ I suppose....â, she nearly whispered. â...and then someâ.
â...I have to protect themâ, Prompto firmly declared, feeling the weight of Muerlinâs sadness. âLike I promised to protect youâ.
âIâm the one thatâs supposed to be protecting you...â, Muerlin shamefully sighed, placing her hand upon Promptoâs as it rested against her cheek. â...and everyone elseâ.
Prompto could feel the somberness within her usually bright spirit.
âEveryone I lovedâ, Muerlin retorted, her tearful eyes staring directly into Promptoâs, â...and loveâ.
âThatâs not up to youâ.
With Promptoâs callused palms pressed against her temples, Muerlin couldnât help, but feel a peace brew under the chaos that warped her mind.
âThereâs a reason why they call you the âNew Oracleââ.
âIâm not Luna...â.
âNo, youâre not and you donât have to beâ. His tone softened with a light smile.
âYouâre the Pythoness. Raised by the Oracle, watched over by the Oracle, sister of the Oracle, but still the Pythoness...still Muerlin...â.
The lagoons twinkled in the warming embrace of the oceans tide.
â...still youâ.
Prompto brushed a few strands of silver from her freckle dusted cheeks.
âAnd itâs you that Eos needs right now...thatâs out there roaming from place to place in this Hell to bring hope and strength to the entire world. Thatâs opened Willownoireâs gates for the first time in centuries to treat the sick and the helpless. Thatâs bustinâ daemon heads left and right with literal frigginâ LIGHTNING like a total BADASSâ.
Finally forcing a giggle out of the woman.
âAnd youâre the one that I love...â, his gaze so heavily sweetened, âso so so much...that seeing you again has literally been a dream Iâve had for so many months. I canât get you out of my head!â
Muerlin melted into his grasp.
Prompto just staring in awe at the beauty he had longed for all this time.
âWell...â, Muerlin smiled toward him, â...consider it payback for keepinâ me up all nightâ.
Prompto chuckled lightly as his eyes began to dart between her eyes and her grey glossed lips.
Muerlinâs cheeks flushed at the pleasant anxiety roaming through her.
2 years of anticipation and yearning.
These few seconds feeling like an eternity compared to that.
The familiar warm of their breath ghosting each otherâs lips before impact.
An explosion of ecstasy the two had pinned for for so long was enough to nearly bring them to tears.
It was too good to cease.
Roaming her silky locks, caressing his blonde stubble, intertwined with growing passion.
Trailing fingers down her back that was mostly bare, admiring the strength in his neck and his chest.
Their tongues in synchronized dance.
Prompto could feel the heat of her flushed bosom as he inched closer and closer to Muerlinâs body.
His thumb passing over her nipple inviting a sharp gasp into her throat just barely pulling their lips apart long enough for their eyes to reconnect.
Panting against their swollen lips, a loving smile painted upon Muerlinâs face followed by a light chuckle.
âNew Oracle or notâ, Muerlin started as she finally stood from her seat. âI should follow some sort of ethics and not sleep with one of my patientsâ.
That familiar laugh widened the womanâs smile.
âFair enoughâ, the plebe captain complied. âBuuuuuuuuut...â, he added, gently pulling her closer, lightly trailing his fingers against her waist toward her rear.
â...afterward, Doc, I gonna have a bone to pick with youâ. His exaggerated rusty country accent making it nearly impossible to keep a straight face. âA BIG oneâ, he added waggling his eyebrows.
Muerlin threw her head back in a light giggle fit before wrapping her arms around her beloved chocobo.
2 years and he hadnât changed a bit.
âFair enoughâ.
Just how she had dreamed.

Streetview of Gralea. I was curious to get down to the street level and see what looking up and around was like. Imagining that was a sight that Aranea and Loqi and Verstael and even Ardyn or Ravus was familiar with.Â
The area is a little bizarre, but extremely detailed for an area you never visit, and can never interact with. I wonder what it would look like, if it populated with people...
i went to gralea! it seems that the city is split into 2 parts. the furthest area is the one filled with skyscrapers only. the closer area is filled with old-style buildings, and i managed to get some shots of gralean architecture.Â
