Had Sakura really known what to expect when she tried her hand at another summon, at using the same relic from so long ago in hopes of bringing back the one person she had truly felt unconditionally understood her? She had been hopeful, too much even, overlooking the crack in the mirror and assuming everything would work out just like the last time. That she’d finally get to see Medusa again...

Her lips pulled up in a smile, her hands clasped behind her back. An innocent enough expression, were it not for the underlying malice that lurked just beneath the surface. She tilted her head to the side, pausing in her swaying just for a moment.

“Say Lancer, how good are you at killing people?” she asked, a small giggle escaping her. “Of course, I’m perfectly willing to let you run wild all you want. There’s just something personal about this for me.”
