During the 2014 Western Australia shark cull I interviewed one of the cull contractors. In this segment he and his crew express their desire to sell the fins of the sharks they killed. I was reminded of this in light of the recent news of a cull contractor on The Sunshiny Coast being caught selling fins. The Sharks Board in South Africa has also sold the fins of the sharks they culled. What do you think? Is it better to make use of the parts of an already dead animal? Or does it add disgrace to an already wasted life? Or possibly even encourage and motivate additional culling? Watch my 2014!documentary Great White Lies at greatwhitelies.com.
