When you’ve spent your whole life in school it starts to become a way of life. I may not be in school anymore but I’m still asking myself the same question. Am I doing a good job? Do I get an A+ in real life?  School grades make you judge your whole life like its one giant test and thats not how it actually is. Its not, even though you’ve spent the passed 14 years thinking that that is how people measure you. Stop looking at life like its one exam after another, one class separate from another. Math was never separate from art just like friends aren’t separate from work or hobbies or chores. They are all connected and if you fail at one it doesn’t mean you haven’t passed the class or that you get left behind. People move at different speeds, people have all different types of needs, sometimes we move fast and sometimes slow. Speaking from someone who stayed back in first grade, let me just say I’m one of those late bloomers. It takes me longer to figure things out, to adjust, to understand and I’m just starting to accept that maybe I shouldn’t measure my worth at how well I do on a test but rather on the tenderness I show the people I love and the effort I put into the things I care about. So don’t sweat it, you’ve got this. Life is not a fill in the circle kind of test with only one right answer.

Congrats to all our beautiful seniors. Even though we hate to see you go you will all do amazing things.
