When I was a little girl, I used to have flying dream all the time. I loved having them and it made it easy to pretend I was a super hero myself. Later on, I decided I wanted to be Veruschka (ver-oosh-kah), she was 6′4″ tall and a contortionist as well as one of the first “super models.” See below in a Richard Avedon photo:
She was almost as popular as Twiggy (again, photo by Richard Avedon), the quintessential model of the late 60s early 70s.
So what does this have to do with yarn?
Look at the top shot! Look at that fist-full of yarn! Can you imagine how big my hands must be to hold so many skeins of yarn??? Am I a super hero? Am I as big as Veruschka?Â
Hahahahaha! No!
That’s a fistful of Mini Skeins and they’ve begun shipping! So if you ordered some and you’re not doing a payment plan, keep an eye on your mail box. If you did a 2-month plan, they’ll ship after the April installment. If you went for the 3-month plan, they’ll ship after the May payment. And if you ordered every color, they’ll ship at the end of the week or beginning of next.
If you didn’t sign up for the Gradient Mini Skeins Event, you’ll have to wait until next year. Sorry!Â
