4. They're just returning home from a date — a lovely dinner at a new Italian place that had just opened up on third. ~ Picture imperfect

5. The metal cuts into his palm, not sharp enough to break skin but enough to leave it raw. ~ Misguided

The rhythmic clunk, clunk, clunk of the headboard knocking against the wall harmonises with the squeak of the mattress; mere background noise to the steady slap of skin on skin, panting breaths and guttural grunts – broken only by gasping moans. (Oh, longest sentence yet and right on into the juicy stuff) ~ Come together and fall apart

7. Hen and Chimney casually mentioned that Eddie doesn't get flustered. ~ Prove it

From my angsty hamster fic:

You would think, by now, Eddie would be able to manage this without Buck's help. Except, Rover is smart. Every successful capture has been won through a lot of trial and error, the same trick rarely working twice. But Buck is nothing if not innovative — and also Rover likes him. Which is why the bucket traps stays intact…with suspiciously less seeds while the three of them are sat down watching a movie to wait Rover out. And out Rover comes. Quietly crawling along the back of the couch and tentatively climbing down onto Buck's shoulder, sniffing at his neck. "Oh hey there, little guy. Where've you been?" Buck coos, slowly lifting his hand to grab Rover. Rover — sensing he's about to be captured, attempts to flee but Chris manages to grab him before he does. "Gotcha!" Chris exclaims. He brings Rover up to his face to look him in the eye. "No more adventures, okay?" Rover just sniffs at his nose, all wriggling ceasing as he accepts his fate.

It's this that runs through Eddie's mind now, as Buck sits across the couch from him, cheeks stained pink with fatigue and embarrassment as Buck confesses to being in love with him. Buck is in love with Eddie of all people. It doesn't quite feel real, there's a dream-like quality to this moment, the edges soft and fuzzy, Buck's voice a distant echo as he rambles nervously, apologizing profusely and vowing to get over it. Oh. Buck wants to get over him.

"Answer the question," Eddie repeats his earlier command as the host begins reading the next clue. He emphasises this with a slow grind of his hips, pulling a whimper from Buck's lips. "Buck." Eddie raises an eyebrow. Swallowing, Buck flicks his eyes back to the screen. "It’s the only continent with no active volcanoes." Eddie leans down, slowly dragging his crotch over Buck's — the fabric of their pants catching, and latches his mouth on to Buck's neck, sucking gently. "Um…Au-Australia." Buck stutters, his breath hitching as Eddie grinds down on him again. Eddie smiles into his neck when he hears the contestant give the same answer, and waits for the hosts inevitable "correct" before rewarding Buck with another grind.

Even the total bookmarks is blowing me away because what do you mean over half the people that liked my fic thought it was bookmark worthy???! 🤯💕
