Here's social worker Joy sending her message of thanks (swipe 👉🏻). The shelter is a halfway home for pregnant unwed mothers. Most of them are teenagers, with the youngest here at 16 years old. The shelter's founders believed that with God's grace, they could still be given a choice to have their babies instead of aborting them. The founders came up with the shelter in July 2009 after their pilgrimage to the Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, the unborn patroness in Mexico City. Aside from taking care of the mothers-to-be, the shelter provides material support and medical needs of their newborn babies and facilitates the adoption of surrendered and abandoned infants. . The next Coffee Talk is on November 14 with Madhur-Nain Webster, who will discuss tools to help you navigate uncertainty with ease and clarity to respond rather than react to stressful situations.
