I had a drop in with two lovely cats, only one for now.

Tomorrow I have a breakfast meeting with a local pet sitter who is also just starting up her business. We met at our monthly pet sitter meeting. I reached out to her to get together so we can walk through the start up process together, support each other. I love that there’s such a strong community here for this work. Then afterwards I have two drop ins. One of mine and one of the other local pet sitter. Then M and I have our marriage class at the church.

Friday starts the real work with the local pet sitter. I’m working about 7 hours a day for her! It’s a pay cut, but not by much. Between the work she has for me and the work I build up, we are def going to be fine.

Again, I am so glad I quit and took this risk. This time around there’s more support for it, I’m in a better metal state as well.

Ready to meet my new pet clients!!!

Well, almost. still have to register for an EIN and am going to open a business account too I think?

It’s still going to be quite the struggle while I fit other 1099 work around it, but I’m committed. I was not happy going back to social work when I know pet care is my right path. I can’t build on that with a 9-5 job.
