8. do you believe in ghosts and/or aliens?

this might be wishy washy/agnostic of me but i really couldn't say one way or another for either! i don't think the lack of definitive proof means something doesn't exist - i also know that usually there's an explanation for strange things happening that isn't necessarily coming from ghosts, i just don't happen to have all the info or context behind it.

i'm far more interested in what ghosts and aliens mean to people and the kinds of fears/anxieties that emerge when people craft and share stories about them - sometimes ghosts are people themselves, sometimes they're places. sometimes aliens are beautiful and wise and better than we could ever hope to be and sometimes aliens don't give a shit about earth made hegemonies and will extract the planet's resources/colonize it all the same.

favorite thing about weddings is seeing + hearing the clarinet player put his whole pussy into it!! my grandma's from epirus so my sister played this song (and a few others) at her wedding

30: A song that reminds you of yourself

i listened to this song a LOT when i was desperately trying to cram my undergrad thesis, which i had a full year to write, in the span of 2 weeks (in my defense i was also juggling a lab report and finals! luckily for me my TERF therapist convinced my professors for that course to give me an extension)

i also listened to it a lot when i first moved to LA and made friends with joon seo, and eventually met you; a lot of really big triumphs and small, quiet moments of smoking on balconies were accompanied by this track. my music listening tastes bounce around a lot month to month, genre to genre, but lo-fi feels very homey and sleepy peaceful to me. i may not always feel that way myself, but it's the sort of energy i try to cultivate in between my energetic bursts
