I recently learned of Tribal Goths and quite frankly, I’m not fond of them for a first impression.

As a native myself, I found it to be appropriating from native tribes. Especially, their clothes and dances. Maybe- I’m being too harsh considering I just learned about them recently, and maybe there’s more behind the genre- but there’s a lot that rubbed me the wrong way.

What do you guys think? Are tribal goths just culturally appropriating? Or is there more that meets the eye? I’m open to hearing your suggestions!
