Some time after the Calamity's defeat and his revival, Revali notices something odd. Small strands of his hair have turned white.
He hates it and hides those few strands to prevent anyone from seeing them.
As time goes on, more strands of his hair turn white and he doesn't know why. It stresses him out, he hates how it looks. It's becoming harder and harder to hide. People are noticing the change to his appearance.
He considers dyeing his hair back to it's regular navy color, having heard that it was possible to do so with modern cosmetic tools.
Link and Zelda come to visit the village before Revali could dye his hair, and he catches Link staring at him.
Surely the knight thinks Revali looks ridiculous with the white strands of hair replacing the beautiful navy.
He angrily asks Link what he's staring at, wanting the Hylian to advert his gaze. He's already stressed enough about his hair, he doesn't need the knight's judgement.
It's much to his surprise when the Hylian's face reddens and he glances away. Then an awkward, "Sorry, I was just looking at your hair. It looks good on you."
Link...thinks his hair looks good? It confuses Revali, as it wasn't what he expected. He couldn't believe it possibly think it looked good, let alone that the knight thought it looked good.
He frustratingly decides to not dye it yet, as if letting his hair turn white would prove that it doesn't look good.
Weeks go by before he realizes that his hair was no longer turning white. Staring at his reflection, he can't help but think about Link's statement about it.
Perhaps...it wasn't that bad of a change, if that little knight thought it was a good look for him.
...
Oh...
Perhaps, he should reach out to Link, he could use the Hylian's opinion on how to style his hair with it's newfound pattern.
