[October 4th||October & Four]
It was the middle of the night and Four had trouble sleeping. Out of all nights, this was the night his eyes refused to droop and his mind refused to doze off. He sighed and got out of bed, slipping on a loose black t-shirt and shoes and got out of bed. Maybe if he walked around enough, got his mind busy enough, all the thoughts would go away and he'd be tired enough to finally get some sleep.
He stepped out in the hallway, but something out of the corner of his eye caught his attention. He looked over, just in time to see a glimpse of a girl with blonde hair (a shade too light to be Tris) and a black jacket. Raising an eyebrow, he jogged down the end of the hallway to see who was there. But when he looked over, he saw no one. Strange, he thought. The hallway was long; there was no way someone could disappear that fast. Maybe I am getting tired, he decided, but before he could turn to head back, he saw a glimpse of the girl out of the corner of his eye at the end of the other hallway again.
This continued until he found himself at the doorway that led to the Chasm. I'm losing it, Four thought. I'm seeing things. Then he did a double-take when he saw the blonde-haired girl standing near the railing, overlooking the crashing waters. He raised an eyebrow, wondering if he was still seeing things. He blinked but the girl didn't "disappear" this time. He also realized that he'd never seen her before; she looks like one of the Dauntless initiates, but can't match her with a name.
Letting out a small sigh, Four made his way over to her. "Hey, what are you doing here this late at night?" he asked.
