Hmm... which muse should I go with... I think I’ll just stick with Hartley for now. One headcanon I have is that Jerrie does exist in the CW canon, but Osgood and Rachael have kept her a secret from everyone, Hartley included.

✓ - How do they react to praise?

Dependent on who and what.

If it’s someone he respects and something he takes pride in, he soaks it up and gloats, strutting about with a cocky sense of pride that can last far longer than appropriate.

If it’s someone he respects but he doesn’t feel praise was warranted, he can become uncertain and even in some cases sheepish. (though this reaction really is pre-Wells fallout)

If it’s someone he doesn’t care about and he feels praise is warranted, he merely accepts it as fact and moves on.

If it’s someone he doesn’t care about and he feels it was unwarranted or earned, he becomes suspicious and generally assumes he’s being mocked.

If it’s someone he hates... he becomes downright unbearable if the praise was well-earned. Like “That’s right I am the best,” and he smirks and never lets it go.

If it’s someone he hates and he feels it was unwarranted praise, he assumes he’s either being mocked or they are unintelligent. Either way, he will spite them for it.

Hartley looked up, startled as the doors to his “lab” burst open. “What-” Had he been found? After all this time? He’d been careful; chosen a place he thought no one would care to look... an abandoned factory on the edge of the industrial side of Gotham, a world and a half away from Central City.

But it wasn’t the scarlet speedster, or policemen who came into his space... but a man in a suit, walking with a hobble. Hartley arched an eyebrow, crossing his arms across his chest. “And who might you be?”

♯:  Is there any kind of muse, you would like to play, but don’t dare? Why?

Hmmmmm.  I’ve played a lot of different kinds of muses, and I don’t think there’s one that I wouldn’t dare to play.  But after Jessica Jones came out, I did really want to try my hand at Kilgrave.  I made a blog for him and everything, but never opened it.  However, the idea of playing him on tumblr, just because I know the kinds of plot requests he’d undoubtedly attract from random rpers I don’t already know, always made me kind of nervous.  Like, I’m totally fine with exploring darker themes, but only with an rper I’m really comfortable with and have already done a lot of stuff with.  I’d be more comfortable with a character like him on a forum, I think.  Just because forums tend to not be quite so....tumblr???
