Hey, everyone! We hope that August is treating you better than July for some of our members.

We wanted to remind you that our current event of the Gotham Summer Celebration/Fair is still going on through the end of August so get in on that while you can and give @insertfivecents a visit before he vanishes just as mysteriously as he appeared...

A note on group things for all of you. We, your mods, are currently coming up with some great ideas for the future of our group. Stay tuned for more, but a sneak peek for you all...

Hey, all! We hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend and doing well.

We wanted to give a quick update here on a few things so bear with us.

First:

We apologize for the lack of activity recently. One of us has a kidney stone currently, another is sick with a cough, and the other is starting a new job. That’s life for ya and all part of why we remind you that we are totally understanding of this and don’t enforce strict activity rules. We get how life can be and all we ask is that you be here when you can and interact with your fellow members when you can. 

Second:

We wanted to remind you that our SUMMER CELEBRATION is still going on for the remainder of the month of July!

Look for some fun ask memes to come from the group for both your character(s) and the writer! Also, remember that we have a new in character chat setting available on the group discord chat! Don’t be shy and feel free to go in and interact there as well.

We encourage our members to feel free to use the fair as a setting or starting point for threads and/or interactions with each other, but we certainly don’t enforce it. 

We also encourage our members to pay the Electrifying Maximillian a visit and deposit a nickel or two to him (just send him an in character ask) and receive your very own fortune before he disappears! 

Third:

We are currently working on a new format for our group character welcomes and will be redoing and reposting those. Always be sure to follow your fellow members.

Fourth:

We changed a few things on the ABOUT/FAQ page as well as our SUBMISSIONS page. Please feel free to give those a read when you can to see any of the changes we have made. 

Fifth:

Remember that we have a promo side blog located HERE. Due to our illnesses this week we have not been able to keep the queue going since Monday, but we will be working on a new promo to put out there.

As a member, all we ask is that you enjoy yourselves here and have fun and that we provide a safe and awesome group space and environment to write in. If you’re enjoying yourselves and want to see more people join in the fun, please feel free to spread the word in any way you want. Reblog promos, tell your friends... Whatever you do it’s not necessary, but would certainly be appreciated. <3

We are now officially open and launched at Gotham Returns RP!

We are so excited to write with all of you and embark on this new, fun roleplay experience with all of you. We’ve got some really great stuff planned and in store for the group and we can’t wait to continue to share it with all of you, so please make sure to follow us for further updates, promos, announcements and events!

At this time, we’d like to encourage all of our members to HAVE FUN! Watch the group page as we will be rolling out group welcomes for our members. If you haven’t already, please give your fellow members a follow and don’t hesitate to reach out and plot with each other. We’re working on putting together a discord chat, that will have both in character and out of character rooms, that we’ll give exclusive invites to all of our members.

In the mean time, watch your inboxes. The mods are planning some fun meet the player things and may be reaching out to you to ask you a few questions so we can all get to know each other here.

We sincerely look forward to playing with each and every one of you and can’t wait to read the stories as they unfold. As always, if you have any questions, comments or concerns, please don’t hesitate to message your mods here or on our respective blogs which will be labeled on the character roster page.

GET YOUR FORTUNE TOLD! An old fortune-telling machine has appeared in the fairgrounds. Be sure to send it an ask- you’ll receive a custom prompt in exchange for dropping in a nickel! The prompts can be used to start a thread with someone else, write a drabble, or even just be read as horoscopes!
