at first, he isn’t really sure how to approach the situation. he wants to help, he just isn’t really sure how.

i think he would end up giving you words of reassurance! he would let you wear one of his sweaters and make a cute comment about how handsome you are <3

MITSURI KANROJI •

she’s SO doting to her beloved boyfriend! she loves you so much and she’s so supporting and caring towards you even if she doesn’t fully understand

mitsuri is no stranger to being uncomfortable and self conscious about your body so she to some degree understands your dysphoria

either way she’s still going to be super loving and doting and caring towards you!

MUICHIRO TOKITO •

he doesn’t care, but not in a bad way. it simply doesn’t affect his love to you. it’s not like he cares wether you’re a girl or a boy or anything in between, he just loves you as you.

scaramouche who, even if he’s been around for thousands of years, doesn’t think he’ll ever find anyone as amazing as you. he’s seen day after day, and night after endless night with those fake stars.

the stars promised to those who wish and dream of their own fates intertwining, all simply a lie. yet the stars in your eyes, he had noticed, were real. what was a real star if not you yourself?

the balladeer who, even despite his having foresaken all that had made him himself, retains his love for you.

it doesn’t matter if he’s simply a puppet who is to feel no emotion. he’s meant to be an empty husk, simply a vessel for a gnosis. his love for you is the only thing he feels at all sometimes

kunikuzushi who loved you even before his entire world came crashing down and he fell apart.

he’d be sleeping! kazuha would have his platinum blond hair down, falling over his shoulders and face as he gently rested his head on your shoulder with a small smile on his face as he slept <3

HEIZOU •

heizou would be reading! he’d have a murder mystery novel in which he’d already have figured out who the killer was, but he isn’t going to spoil it for you! he reads very fast, but he’ll wait until you’re done with a page to move to the next, and especially enjoys it when you theorize about who you think the killer may be! doesn’t matter if you’re right or wrong he thinks it’s adorable!

XIAO •

at first, you honestly annoyed him.

so how then did that annoyance turn to love? well, first it started when he realized that maybe you weren’t so annoying, so he’d tolerate you.

tolerance became affection and soon after that affection became love

i can’t call it enemies to lovers because you were never enemies. you were just close by his side at all time and didn’t leave when you noticed that he was slowly starting to open up to you

he realized he loved you when you asked to be a vigilante with him and fight the abyss. in that moment, your eyes shone brighter than all the stars in the night sky, and diluc realized he wanted nothing more than to stay by your side and for you to be his partner

VENTI •

i see venti as someone to fall in love very easily

even if he’s been alive for thousands of years, what did it matter how many heartbreaks he endured when you were right in front of him, an image of perfection in its purest form?

to see you happy and thriving is really the only thing that means more than the world to him

what was the need to learn to love this world he had to live in as a disguised god when all he really needs is for you to be right by his side?

he probably realized he was in love with you when you helped him steal lawfully gain possession of dandelion wine. sure it might be something meaningless to you, but to venti it held all the meaning an action as simple as that can possibly hold.

XIAO •

he’s an adeptus who has lived for thousands of years alone, what use does someone like him have for relationships?

of course he understands that not even adepti are immune to falling in love. while yes, there are people who simply aren’t romantically attracted to anything or anyone (WRITER SAYS ARO RIGHTS!!), xiao is not one of those people

in all honesty he was scared of getting close to you in fear that his karmic debt would transfer to you and incur the same suffering that he endured for thousands of years and eventually became immune to

you surely need not worry of demons in the night, as xiao made it his personal job to protect you before anyone else

he realized he loved you during the lantern rite festival. all the colors in the sky flying by were fleeting, just like human life itself. if life was a person or a being in general, it surely hates him. but you eased that pain, that ever growing hurt in his heart subsided when you were around.

KAZUHA •

kazuha my beloved

love at first sight isn’t real in his eyes, so he didn’t fall in love with you until you had told him of your hardships, and in return he had shared his with you

to him at least, understanding your troubles makes him more drawn to you. yet still, he was nervous to share the troubles that plagued his mind

one day he’ll normalize celebrating halloween all year round. one day. as childish as he is, venti actually really enjoys taking the mondstadt kids around the few small towns in the area to trick or treat! and just so happens, this year he invited you to go with him too. the two of you make a group costume for you, him, klee, and diona. the latter not being as enthusiastic about someone who isn’t her father taking her trick or treating. eventually that bitterness goes away and she just has fun with the rest of the group. by the end of the night, you and venti had to carry the two children back to their homes because they were both passed out. by the time you got home, it was at least two in the morning. all in all, a fun halloween <3

KAZUHA •

he’s definitely the type of person who, initially, doesn’t want to go trick or treating. eventually you had convinced him, and he ends up having way too much fun with it. he gets a silly costume, a matching candy bucket, and the two of you end up staying out till the sun rises. though, by the end of the night half the candy bucket is empty because he wouldn’t stop taking the peanut butter cups. every few minutes you’d see him reaching back into the candy bucket to grab another candy, and playfully roll your eyes every time he glances at you with his mouth full of candy.

XIAO •

doesn’t even know what halloween is.

“why would someone dress up in a one time use costume and…go door to door asking for candy?…not that i’m not willing to try it, if you wanted to…”

he gets a simple costume, the other adepti (+ shenhe) see him out and about with you and laugh to themselves over it. the vigilant yaksha, conqueror of demons, xiao himself, putting on a silly costume on a holiday only humans celebrate just to make his lover happy? it’s both absurd and hilarious at the same time.

HEIZOU •

TANJIRO KAMADO •

- it started from a strong urge to protect you at any cost, and tanjiro thought it normal to have more of an incentive to protect you than any other person

- yet he couldn’t stand seeing you hurt, and his heart felt all weird whenever you smiled at him

- the exact moment he realized he was in love with you would be hard to pinpoint exactly, because he had known he felt something for you since the start, but this feeling was different

- it’s hard to explain, he had known but he also didn’t know, if that even makes sense

- you were walking together at night when rain started to pour from the sky. tanjiro took your hand, talking about how you needed to get inside before either of you got sick. he heard you laughing about how seriously he was taking a little bit of rain and the whole world seemed to move in slow motion as he looked back at you and felt himself begin to smile as he realizes that his suspicions were right, he is in love with you after all

INOSUKE HASHIBIRA •

- okay let’s get one thing straight here, he didn’t know what love is

- he didn’t understand and frankly got annoyed by how his heart would beat faster when you touched by accident, how he always wanted to be around you, none of it he understood

- tanjiro sat him down and explained what it’s like to be in love with someone, and inosuke literally thought it was a disease or something that you can catch

- he just thought you were good partners in a fight against a demon, right? right?!

- wrong. he never really confessed to you per se, he just kinda yelled out one night that he loves you before running away out of embarrassment, elementary school kid style

ZENITSU AGATSUMA •

- oh boy

- he’s someone who throws the word “love” around a lot, so it had begun to lose meaning when he met you. but you gave a whole new meaning to love, at least in his eyes

- he’s definitely asked you to marry him multiple times, but you thought nothing of it until one day he said he was serious about it

- if, in a fight, a demon got even relatively close to you, zenitsu would come flying in and cut off whatever limb of its was closest to you with words along the lines of “don’t touch them.”

- but how did he realize he loved you when the word had no meaning to him? it was really just another night spent wide awake with you and his friends asleep. he realized he could hear your heartbeat, and never in his life than in that moment was he more comforted. the sound of your heartbeat made him realize he wanted to live with that sound forever, he wanted to cherish you for the rest of your and his own life

MITSURI KANROJI •

- seeing how she’s lovey with everyone she meets, you didn’t suspect anything at first

- but she found herself more and more drawn to you as the days went by, time without you felt almost painful to her in a way

- fighting alongside you made her feel so…warm inside for some reason she couldn’t quite understand

- but how did mitsuri confess? well here’s the thing- she didn’t really have to because it was really obvious since that night, the night the two of you were sent on a mission together. she was heavily injured, and you had jumped in the way of an attack, killing the demon in the process and protecting her

- from then on she was just head over heels for you

SHINOBU KOCHO •

- she has a hard time expressing her emotions, that much is clear to anyone who knows her personally

- yet something about your smile made the anger in her heart temporarily subside, leaving her with a strange sense of happiness she hasn’t felt since her sister’s passing many years ago

- she had likely realized her love for you when you complimented her swordsmanship, saying you thought it was really cool that her sword style didn’t revolve around slashes, as well as complimenting her smarts on being able to create a poison that worked against demons

- since that day she had a soft spot for you, always wanting to be the one treating your wounds when you got injured during a mission, visiting you while you recover

- she definitely gifts you a few vials of her wisteria poison for dire situations to keep with you, in a small wooden box decorated with butterflies on it

KANAO TSUYURI •

- her inability to feel emotions certainly made it…difficult to be around you at first. she didn’t understand how someone could possibly feel emotion and grow to love the world around them the way they did when it was likely they’d lost everything dear to them

- yet something about you being naturally drawn to her was beautiful in a way

- she had passed by people indifferently before, but something about you was so different to her. her need to stay neutral in opinion towards everything for her own safety in the past backfired in that case because she truly did want to get to know you

- so when you took the first step and extended your hand out to her when she’d fallen, and that action strengthened her willpower more than you’d ever know

- “thank you for giving me strength…maybe i’d loved you all along…” she had thought to herself as you killed demons in tandem and watched the sun rise

MUICHIRO TOKITO •

- you knew something was up when he actually remembered who you were, for starters. usually it takes him a while to remember people’s names and connect those names with appearances but for you it was immediate

- come to think of it he always had a strange look in his eyes when he looked at you, but what exactly did that look convey?

- how could he possibly forget you when your smile helped clear the mist in his mind? when your voice is what he thinks of when his life is on the line against a demon?

- walking off into the sunrise together after a mission, he knew right then and there that he loved you. it was a simple conclusion to draw up for him

KAEDEHARA KAZUHA •

waking up with him consists of soft kisses and quiet confessions of love as he pulls you close and gently runs his hand through your hair.

he doesn’t want to get out of bed so early, not when you’re right there. he simply wants to hold you close and never let go. brushing his white and red hair, messy from sleep, out of his face to reveal his bright red eyes as he smiles softly and stares lovingly at your sleeping form.

he can’t help but pull you close and kiss your forehead, you just look so cute!

NAGANOHARA YOIMIYA •

yoimiya wakes up early, so she takes it upon herself to make breakfast for you! she’ll roll out of bed, get dressed and do her hair, and make breakfast for you before she heads off to work. though, if you ever wanted to go to work with her she’s gladly let you go!

it’s how she shows affection to you, by making sure you’re taken care of.

VENTI •

he decided to be broccoli. why? who knows. he’s definitely gonna drag you out to take him trick or treating, even if he’s practically an old man by human aging standards. he definitely has a matching broccoli candy bucket. runs around chasing children and scaring them with the reality of eating their vegetables. imagine getting jumpscared by the anemo archon in a broccoli costume and the funeral parlor director of a neighboring nation dressed as a deviled egg. could be klee. and diona.

ARATAKI ITTO AND KUKI SHINOBU •

itto forced her to do it. they were in the costume shop and he beelined towards the weird/stupid costumes and found these. shinobu rolled her eyes, but itto could tell she was smiling behind her mask. they were best friends, after all, and she would surely entertain this costume.

HU TAO •

deviled egg. a pun. and she is so excited about it too, giggling to herself as she pinned her long pigtails up so they wouldn’t get in the way. she saw the face of the costume model and broke down laughing hysterically in the store, and she knew she absolutely had to buy it. her and venti, as the nutritious food gang, run around together scaring children. they jumpscared klee and diona at some point.
