Got Seattle planned for next month, maybe see about getting into the Mercury as I wasn't able to last time. Going to help a friend vend at a convention, but otherwise hang out in the area. Thinking of moving somewhere there at some point in the further future. Or Portland area. I like the nature.

dear Auntie Jilli, I may need some help. I found out from a fellow goth I met online that a city nearby hosts goth parties every month, and I really want to go (my city has a tiny alt scene, but I haven't seen much in terms of gatherings or communities), and the problem is I... can't really dance. I've never been to a real goth club. can you recommend me some resources on dancing and such that I could use so I won't stick out like a sore thumb on the dancefloor?

My first bit of advice is don't worry about sticking out. Anyone dancing is going to be too busy doing that to look at you. With that said, here are some videos that pass the Auntie Jilli "yes, that's what we did Back In The Day" standards.
