Rhaenys Targaryen and her dragon Meraxes. šāØ ā Aegonās second wife and youngest sister. It was said that Aegon married his older sister Visenya out of duty, and Rhaenys out of desire. Unlike Visenya, Rhaenys was no true warrior. She loved music, dancing, and poetry; but she loved nothing more than flying. It was said that she spent more time in dragonback than her brother and sister combined. Her dragon Meraxes had silver scales and golden eyes. Before her death, she dreamed of flying Meraxes across the Sunset Sea.Ā
