For every ☠ in my inbox I will post one of my RP pet peeves.
OH GOODNESS GRAVY THAT'S A LOT.
1. People judging people one way or another based on the style of their writing. Yeah, it doesn't matter if people format, but it doesn't matter if they don't format either. I actually have a great deal of admiration for people who can format well. It's almost like reading prose poetry and I love it. In that same vein, I have a great deal of admiration for pretty much anybody who writes well - regardless of their formatting.
2. When I plot something out with someone and it looks like everything's going to go well and then we start and either the starter gets completely ignored with no word one way or the other about it or it gets dropped without any warning. (I understand if our muses do not click. This is why I like short icon/GIF chats. They can let us check these things!) But...seriously, if I put a lot of time and effort into a starter and it's ignored...just.... It's not angering so much as it is disappointing. :/
3. This one will probably get me the most slack, but-- Poorly worded OOC rants.
Again, Bandit's a hypocrite because also bad with the words, but a lot of times people have perfectly good reasons to rant - or, really, as good a reason to rant as any reason to rant, and I respect that. Seriously, sometimes I need to rant as much as the next person. But sometimes the way a rant is worded, the way it's expressed, has connotations that are totally not congruent with what the person is meaning to say.
Mark Twain is quoted as saying, "The difference between the right word and the almost right word is the difference between lightning and a lightning bug." But when it comes to a rant - the right word is the lightning bug - you want it to illuminate, to shine light on a problem. The wrong word becomes like lightning - yes, it illuminates, but it also devastates everything it touches. Rants are emotions, and expressing emotion can be a very good and powerful thing, but one wrong word can twist the entire meaning and implication of what is being said. I think people can forget, sometimes, just how powerful words are.
More often than not I find that I agree with the idea that someone is meaning to express but not the way in which they say it. (...this is actually true off of Tumblr as well. I'm really bad about being nitpicky with words and how something comes across. ...to the point that, if I reply, it's half agreeing with what is said and half defending against the unfortunate implications of what's being said because it's not taken into consideration.)
This is not to say don't rant! Rants are good ways to release emotion, and doing so on Tumblr is probably a good thing because there are varying degrees of anonymity here! It's more of a...just...be careful with the rant being written because we can never know who's going to be reading it and who might be hurt by it without our meaning to do so.

1. Do you enjoy dressing up (formals, suits, etc)?
Well for one thing, I tend to put too much effort into my clothes every day. Dresses, leggings, cute jewelry, lipstick, hats...it's a mess. So it's not too big of a leap for me into formal wear, which I love to get all swanky in.
2. Do you enjoy more fiction books or non-fiction?
I guess it's a pretty fair blend of both? I'm a history major, so I love historical nonfiction - literally I have to read a huge biography of Anne Boleyn for a paper and I'm pumped to get started - but on the other hand, most of the books I own are fiction. And I don't buy a book unless I loved it. Then again a lot of them are historical fiction...
3. Dogs or cats?
Cats. I LOVE dogs, but they're just too energetic and high-maintenance for me to be able to really cope with on a daily basis. Cats understand that some days you are just going to lie around and maybe eat something but mostly ignore the world, and what's more, they'll either join you supportively or go off and do their own thing.
Cats are kind of evil, but I'm the last person in the world to judge them for it. I already have a cat of my own. Cats sit with you when you cry, they're calming creatures and they do the fucking darndest things.
4. Given the opportunity, would you want to find out who your true love is?
Why not? It'd be really interesting seeing how it panned out from there.
5. Are you closer with your mom or your dad?
My mom. I can't really stand my dad, though, so there's no competition.
6. What is one event you would like to erase from your past?
I don't know. I guess I wish I hadn't been such an overall fucking idiot in high school. I could also go for not having wasted college.
7. Have you ever seen Gilmore Girls? If so, who is your favorite male and female character?
YES I HAVE my older sister and I used to watch it all the time, and pretend we were Lorelai and Rory, except of course that she is not my mom. But Lorelai's parents are pretty much dead ringers for our parents. I guess if I had to pick, my favorite characters would be Lane and Michel.
8. Favorite season?
For a second there I thought we were still on the topic of GG! Lol but no, my favorite is autumn because of the summer-to-winter transition. I love it.
9. Dream career?
Mildly-successful stage actress.
10. What are your thoughts on snakes/lizards?
They're okay. I used to want a pet snake because my mom hates them...but that was before I found out snakes eat live food *nopes awaaaaay*

My questions!
Why did you choose your main muse?
Coffee or tea? Why?
Are you more into TV or movies?
Where do you think you'll be in ten years?
If you could snap your fingers and speak a foreign language fluently, which would you choose?
Pick a favorite music artist and tell us a little about why you love them.
Do you like having pictures taken of you? Or would you rather be behind the camera? Or neither?
The sun shone brightly over Arendelle. The sky was relatively clear, save for some straggly clouds carelessly scudding along. The air was sweet and filled with scents of summer-- such as the gardens and salt of the ocean.
It was also fairly warm out today, which meant one thing; people would be wanting ice. And that meant something else: Ice harvesters would be down in the village square selling said ice. And that meant something else as well-- Kristoff, and Sven would be down there.
Anna hurried along the stone bridge, her braids flying out behind her. She couldn't wait to see Kristoff. He'd been up somewhere in the mountains for the past couple of days, and she missed him. But now he was back at the bottom of the mountain and she was determined to spend as much time with him as she could before he left again.
Reaching the town square, the princess skidded to a halt, searching the crowds for the tall, blond man. Not seeing any sign of him yet, she frowned, before she started calling out. "Kristoff? Kristoff, where are you?" She wandered into the crowds, heading for the usual spot he set up his sled.

2) my character caring for yours, who has a broken leg
"Okay you have to just… Just stay there." She said gesturing to the couch he was on. "For tonight and well until we can move you. So no, no sled. No ice." Anna said scratching at the back of her head as she gave Kristoff an uneasy look.
She then sat down on the floor against the couch and laid her head back against the cushion looking up at him. “I’m sorry but you can’t be on your leg.”
